Friday and Sunday last, KotA raided in Blackwing Descent, attempting to defeat Magmaw. I’m happy to report that on Sunday, among several wipes and new tries, practicing tactics and performance, we saw one REALLY good attempt made, where things just seemed to flow wonderfully, until something gave and we wiped again – but we had Magmaw at ** 22% **! That’s inspiration to keep at it, and see to it that he becomes another notch in KotA’s bedpost very soon! 🙂
Last night, we crossed the half-way mark for the achievement “That’s A Lot of Bait” and the best feast in the game, at this time – the “Seafood Magnifique Feast“, but that means we’ve nearly 5000 to go. So to all who have fishing, you can help by fishing from any school you find; every little bit counts! 😀

Good work, KotA!
It just goes to show what a cruel and evil bunch we can be when we put our minds to it! With the dilligent work of all of our guild members, bravely fighting those nasty and dangerous level 1 critters all around the world, we’ve finally killed over 50,000 of them!
Next up, Crittergeddon, with 100,000 to murder and wipe from your boots. You mean lot!
Great News! On the 16th February, Knights of the Ancients achieved Guild Level 17!
Our latest guild perk is the ability to send each other messages (and attachments) instantly! How brilliant! No more ‘the gold’s in the post’ excuses for us!
Well done everyone on the achievements for the guild – they all add up!
All old and new raiders must read Rules of the Raid (click to read!), as signing/joining our raids will mean you accept them.
Our now-annual guild meet will this year take place in Riga, Latvia, the weekend of 8th to 10th July. Most of us who are going have already booked a hotel and the journey there, but there’s still time and opportunity to join us, if you haven’t yet! 😀
You can read more about it here: Guild Meet 2011
KotA as a guild is a relaxed one, but when it comes to raiding, experience has taught us that there has to be quite a bit of structure. Consequently, certain requirements and conditions have to be met by each player, … Continue reading
